The Swastika symbol has existed long before any of the World Wars. WW2 was just hugely impactful on our history/race leading this symbol to be always tied to it in people’s minds. Yes, it was a symbol of hate in WW2 which it became more known and widely recognised as but, it is also an ancient symbol tied to religions and cultures of the old.
