If no one (including the king) questioned why the two girls were in a man’s room at night, then it’s just poor writing.

This is what happens when you don’t discipline and raise your children right that king and queen should be ashamed of themselves for raising such terrible children and for believing their obvious lies(I mean if the MC wanted to rape them he could have easily convinced the king to let him marry both of his daughters and taken them both properly by forced arrangement 2hy would he just suddenly try to rape them)
According to something I saw recently the kingdom will be attacked, the girls will fess up, the king and queen will be pissed at their lies, and disinherit them completely. Should see this about 20 chapters or so if what I read was correct. They will reap what they have sown.
